Apothecary on Burnet

20 Oct

Who doesn’t love some good wine and when you live in the North Loop there is always a good wine bar around the corner. On Monday some friends and I went to Apothecary Cafe and Wine Bar for some after work wine and snacks. Apothecary is just west of the neighborhood on Burnet and a really quick bike ride through the Texas Department of State Health Services complex.

The wine was deliciously cheap mainly because it was Monday and the bottles are $10 off on Monday, but it was a really great Malbec. We snacked on a Cheese Plate, Fresh Bruschetta and Prosciutto and Manchego Crostini. The food was delicious and definitely filled up 4 people. The beauty also about 4 people is that the check got split amongst 4 people with the grand total for each person being about $16 without tip.

The atmosphere is nice with high tables and a great outdoor patio. They double as a coffee shop, so they open early and close late. Definitely check them out if you are looking for a nice neighborhood wine or coffee bar!
