To continue on an interesting Burnet trend Daniel and I tried out The Omelettry this past weekend and we were definitely not disappointed. Daniel and I had tried to go here before, but it was too packed and we were too hungry to wait. The Omlettry is the quintessential diner. The food is delicious and the wait staff never leaves your coffee too low.
You can go all out and get a giant omelet for $8- $10 or you can choose the Economical meal (It is literally called that) for about $5. Each meal can come with different side options one being a short stack of pancakes! One meal could feed two, but why not gorge yourself.
The place is pretty small and it can get very packed, but it is worth the wait! They also only take cash and who carries cash these days, but they do have a ATM that only charges $1.50.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and it doesn’t hurt that it is so close to our hood either!
